System Outline

  System Outline

Without the use of complicated mechanical flipping systems or unstable and slow belt conveyance, we can easily inspect both top and bottom of your product by simply gliding it down a layer of angled, clear, tempered glass.

  •   Cascade and Glide Transfer System

Your bulk product is placed into a hopper and the first vibratory feeder transfers the product to a separator plate.  This plate separates the product into four rows using a secondary vibratory feeder for additional stability at the transfer point.  All four rows cascade off of the vibratory feeder and uses gravity to glide down a sheet of tempered glass for inspection.

  • Inspection System

The PAPPIS uses 4 LED lighting units to illuminate the product and 8 high resolution CCD Area sensor cameras for inspection (top and bottom of each row).

Inspection is applied to both the top surface and bottom surface at the same time.

  • Compact Design

Taking into consideration the rising cost of factory floor space, this system does not require a specially designed room or premium floor space for operations.  With a small footprint and light design, the system is placed on casters and can be rolled to any location and simply plugged into a standard 120 volt outlet. Once plugged in, the PAPPIS is ready for your product.

  • Cleaning and Maintenance

The sleek and simple design of the PAPPIS affords easy cleaning, setup, and operations.  With No Moving Parts, it eliminates the need for difficult mechanical adjustments or parts to break down.

  • Changeover

When changing from one product size to another, the operator simply removes the existing separator and guide plates and replaces with a different size.  Since the PAPPIS maintains your process parameters in memory, the operator then calls up the new parameters,  inputs the product, and starts inspection.

Features

Green Design

By removing motors and blower units as well as incorporating an LED light source eliminating wasteful incandescent light bulbs, this decreases power consumption and makes it much more environmentally friendly.

Low Cost

Affordable, High-Speed, Accurate visual inspection has not been obtainable until now.  The PAPPIS is high speed, high accuracy, and is the first system specifically designed to provide a low cost alternative to your inaccurate and timely manual inspection.
